Simple is best.

This was a Deja vu for me. Many years ago I started loading with a Lee tool. I gifted mine to a friend who was just getting started. This is a replacement for a long lost friend. Same tool, different packaging. Good to see it didn't need to be changed.

MEC presses must have these parts for smooth function. No other options are available that I know of. Brass will deform with slight over tight pressure. This particular part could be much more robust and made of a different material.
