Practical, (uses AA battery).
9 of 10 found this helpful The Romeo 7 is a very solid unit. The most notable features, to me, are: It is relatively compact. The battery is easily accessible, without having to remove the unit from the firearm, and with a 65,000 hour life! The adjustment dials are turret protected. The MOTAC innovation is Fantastic. Would not buy a unit without it. And, a nice touch is supplying good quality scope caps with the unit. I like the range of dot intensity. The higher intensity settings are, very slightly, "fuzzy" but not a big deal. (If I want a higher setting with a crisp dot I, simply, put up the back peep up which takes the "fuzz" out of the sight picture. I own an EOtech, which I am fond of, however, I replaced it with a second Romeo 7!
