Decent kit overall, but poor quality fascia
1 of 1 found this helpful I was initially surpised at the cost of this kit, but it does indeed include everything you need to get your double din working and wired to the steering wheel controls.
Good points:
All adapters and cables are included and of sufficient quality.
Able to use steering wheel controls
Bad points:
- The fascia itself comes with no instructions whatsoever. The material used is a cheap plastic, which doesn't match the Civic's standard dashboard material in feel, and the colour is slightly off.
- The cage adapters did not fit with the cage installed (mine was a Sony double din) and I had to squeeze it in with just one.
- The plastic clips on the fascia don't have the spring clips that are needed to replace a standard head unit, but they can be removed from it and used. The plastic itself is very thing and easily broken, I broke the bottom right one by trying to push it in to click it in place.
Not a fault of this product, but you have to take a large amount of the interior apart, in order to get to the stereo.

Cheap plastic with Honda stickers on them
For a fiver each, I expected better. The original OEM covers were plastic but the face was of a brushed metal look (with a swirl). These replacements are just a sliver colour. The honda logo stuck on them is OK, but the red seems a bit too light and doesn't match the originals.
