  This chessboard is exactly as described by the vendor and precisely what I was looking for to add to my newly acquired large figurative chess pieces. The delivery was two days ahead of schedule and the packaging was secure. The board is in excellent condition considering it is pre-used and of some age. I have had one game on it and while it may not improve my skills the board enhances my enjoyment. The patinated playing surface looks well in my study and the suede underside adds a quality feel.
