GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT PRICE !
3 of 3 found this helpful I prefer to use as little pesticide as possible Normally go years without any I am not 'Organic' but I am the one using the chemical and working amongst the plants Ladybugs do an incredible job of getting pest infestation problems in to control Other 'wasps' and such I have tried had inconclusive results I couldn't tell if they helped or not Plus Ladybugs from this Mariposa source and so ultra inexpensive I order maybe every other week a few times in my large greenhouse covered garden Ladybugs do slowly fly away but primarily as they deplete the bugs and they get hungry I have never encountered a bad shipment but do check the mailbox when weather is above 80 and sunny
I release in evening when nearly dark and I have cooled them a few hours in our refrigerator They are allowed to crawl out of the bag on their own after I have removed the sponge and matting material and placed on large leaves
I gently spray water on plants so they have fresh water and stay put I highly recommend High Sierra in Mariposa

MAKE YOUR OWN FLYING INSECT TRAPS !
I bought a sheet of white melamine type wall board 4x8foot and 3/16 inch thick
It was about $15 and with its smooth white finish, very easy and quick to spray paint
I used bright yellow as that color attracts many insects like whiteflys
I cut in to 1x1 foot squares and attach a string to hand or screw to a stick to make a small sign like trap
I spread some warm tanglefoot with spatula made from a 1x2 inch piece of plastic milk jug
The new smaller containers (since the Canadian Company was bought out by Miracle Grow) easily cover 32 squares
Stuck bugs seem to attract more bugs that too get stuck
Very inexpensive and 32 cover a huge area too
Container has enough to go over boards that have gotten too wet or full of bugs
Just scrape off old bugs and apply fresh sticky goo
