Easiest way for clean Mac installation

I had a dead Macbook Pro and didn't want to burden a friend to make a disk or bootable USB. So I had a little time to wait for this item to arrive, hey I can upgrade my drive to ssd while I'm at it... Great idea if I say so myself. Old Macbook pro is blazing now with this bootable USB os install and new ssd. Not worried anymore about getting stuck again just labeled the thumb drive and saved it for another time. The thumb drive and shipping alone are worth it, how is this person even making money?
