Excellent outside in the Sun

Makes a change from having to plug it in all the time or replace its batteries. Excellent outside in the Sun. When used inside by a window the power does not last very long. Slightly disappointing as an AM/FM solar radio lasts much longer BUT this seems to be the case with ALL DAB Digital radios, solar or not. They are power hungry. The size of the radio is also bigger than I expected. I have a smaller one that is battery operated or runs on mains and seems slightly better. Perhaps a bigger integrated solar panel might help. It is already quite big but a different design or shape might help. Overall I’m very pleased with it though.
