Decent balm with subtle colour
Really soothing and effective balm 1 star taken off because the colour settles in the dry areas, but that's a minor point and hopefully will lessen as lips become less chapped

Fine hair - fabulous volume
I'm recovering from long term illness and my hair, although always fine, has thinned dramatically but is now slowly recovering. My issue is that my hair is fine, thin and lies flat against my scalp unless I use lots of product, then more product, then a bit more product.....
My hairdresser demonstrated another (pricey) brand and I was impressed with the result, but not impressed enough to buy at the time, however I had a root around the net later with the intention of buying that brand and spotted this. I replaced my GHD's with FHI's a few years ago, which were promptly acquired by my daughter in favour of her GHD's so I knew it was a decent brand, even so I was very impressed by the quality when it arrived.
I tested it straight away - there is no faffing about - simply drop a roller into the pod, pick up a section of hair and brush through, by that time the pod will have bleeped and the roller is ready to roll into hair. Pick the roller out, drop the next one in, roll first roller into hair then repeat. When finished, leave in hair for 5-10 minutes then remove. The result is massive volume and a bit of movement through the hair. Even after sleeping on it, all I did was run my fingers through and shake it a bit and it looked as though I had just stepped out of the salon. All with no product! It is brilliant for what i want, and at a fantastic price. The only thing I would warn against is that this doesn't give much curl (on short-medium length layers), but I want it for the "oomph" and it is the best product I have ever used for that.

Perfect for the job
Perfect for ensuring that awkward seams are pressed correctly
