Unexpected Vampire Flick
1 of 1 found this helpful A truly engaging piece that keeps the viewer enthralled throughout. With deep characters, a refreshingly dark vampire tale, and gorgeous cinematography, this is a film you cannot miss!

A gut churning follow up to the original Living Dead classic from John Russo himself!
The book perfectly captures the misery and macabre that was written into the original Night of the Living Dead that John Russo’s follow-up novel expands upon. 10 years after the initial outbreak was contained during the final scenes of the film, we are shown a glimpse of small town America that never truly recovered. Where the fear of the ghouls coming back is rooted into the minds of it’s many small communities.
I felt this was a fantastic follow up to John and George’s original creation and is well worth reading for fans of the films and the zombie genre as a whole. It’s a short read that follows a small cast of characters, and documents just how quickly societal collapse could happen within smaller rural communities. As well as its quick descent into madness, mayhem and murder when not controlled. A great read and an excellent addition to the Living Dead universe and collection.
The front cover for this version I purchased by Stephen Andrade is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend grabbing yourself a copy from Fathom Press. Who we also have to thank for bringing this long lost book back from the dead.
