Fixed the common Honda CVT judder
2 of 2 found this helpful Early Honda CVT gearboxes were filled with ATF fluid and the manual states that the fluid should ideally be changed every 2-3years... original recommendation was to refill with ATF-DW1(or Z1), but now the general consensus is that Honda recommend only using CVT fluid for their CVT gearboxes. ATF versions are now only used for traditional automatic gearboxes.
My Honda HR-V CVT developed the common and characteristic judder when moving from standstill - this is now completely cured by changing with this fluid.
As for the fluid - every Honda forum recommends using genuine Honda fluids for their gearbox and differential - there are a few other brands that claim compatibility or the correct specification, but with those prices nearly the same as the genuine fluids, it isn't worth the risk.

So far so good!
Straightforward replacement part and perfect fit
It replaced a Mahle KL567 fuel filter on a 2007 Alfa 159 1.9 JTDm (150HP).
