Poor quality puzzle
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the worst jigsaw puzzle I've ever bought. It is printed on cardboard barely thicker than cardstock. The picture is out of focus, as if enlarged from a much smaller photo. Even though I'm trapped at home, I'm planning to send this puzzle back rather than waste any part of my life assembling it. I'm not yet that desperate for distraction,.

Challenging puzzle
Well cut pieces, interesting pictures. The process of assembling the puzzle was engrossing and the finished picture is attractive.
Many of the dark areas must be assembled purely by shape. The precision cutting of the pieces makes that possible.

Poorly cut puzzle
My primary objection to this puzzle is that the pieces were cut apart with a dull knife. Quality jigsaw puzzles are incised with a sharp tool that leaves the sides vertical. Space between pieces should be narrow. Shapes should fit well together.
Instead, this puzzle has v-shaped gouges stamped between pieces. The edges slant. Neighboring pieces barely fit together and have leave wide gaps. This is especially annoying since the photomosaic puzzle style requires being able to identify tiny details. That's hard to do when the cutting tool destroyed many of the pictures. One cannot work the puzzle either based on appearance or by matching shapes because of the distortion created in the cutting process.
If I wasn't trapped at home and desperate for distraction, I would have thrown it in the trash.
