Makes experimenting fun
Well, they're local lads and I admire what they've achieved. Not precious like a lot of food writers. And I love Mediterranean food. The Gin and Tonic batter was the final clincher

Parcel of 4 arrived the next day. Delighted. I can't drink coffee so I rely on Bovril and I was on the point of running out. First had Bovril in the 1950's on the Isle of Man Ferries (with pepper) as a means to alleviate queasiness. Served in a proper china cup in those days. Loved it ever since.

A good, fun read for anybody interested in the TT races
As a born Manxman I was drawn to this series about motorcycling on the island and appreciate the references to people and places that give depth to the story. Very funny too.
