An excellent charger with the minor limitation of not charging totally dead batteries

The charger is excellent, with numerous helpful functions and variable charging rates. A minor niggle is an inability to charge wholly 'dead' batteries. However, search online for the paperclip method of getting around this. The manual is rubbish, however search for the La Crosse BC-1000 manual - the vast majority of which applies to this item.
