This Silverline product has improved!

The last one was difficult to fit as it had a sealing o-ring that made it difficult to pushed into the high pressure outlet before tightening the threaded retaining collar. The sealing seems now to be done with the face of the connector rather than the outer diameter. Also, the retaining collar is brass so screws on much easier than the previous plastic one. The older hose was also stiffer so more difficult to put into coils for storage and to straighten out without kinks when fitted. The last hose was not too abrasion-resistant and could be easily breached if the hose is used to drag the pressure washer around - a bad practise but it happened when someone borrowed it, requiring me to replace the broken hose. I gave the hose extra protection against abrasion by spiral-cutting the same length of garden hose and wrapping it around the pressure hose. I will be happy if this one lasts as long as the last. It is good for the price providing it is treated with respect.

Tarpaulin in silver advertised as UV proof

The sheet is reasonably lightweight but well finished with bonded seams and strong eyelets. I am hopeful that the silvered top surface will prevent or delay deterioration due to UV that causes woven polypropylene tarps to fall apart after about a year when used outside. Time will tell....
