Best Shure Cartridge EVER MADE!!!!
The Shure M97 Era IV is the finest cartridge Shure ever made, short of the V15V.
It’s leaps and bounds, Head and shoulders above the M91, M95, and later downgrades (cheaply made!!) Me97 and M97xE!
It has more detail, more treble extension, flat FR, while delivering the singular Shure “House Sound!”
No other Shure cartridge delivers a better balance of all the GOOD STUFF than the Shure M97 Era IV. The Radio Shack Realistic RXT4 is exactly the same as the M97 Era IV, or M97HE.
Without exception, all the folks who prefer the later downgrades such as the Me97 and M97xE have NEVER listened to the Era IV side-by-side! The downgrades were made to save manufacturing costs when Shure was DIVESTING in cartridge production, and was doing ALL manufacturing in MEXICO!

Beats the Chinese in price and Quality!!
This wire is high quality American from an American mfr. well packaged and protected. High heat rating, first class enamel insulation. For winding air core inductors it’s cheaper than Chinese finished inductors shipped from China. Great price for a first class product!
