Items are then finished with a protective coat of matt varnish. The locomotives are intended for static display only (unless otherwise stated) and do not have motors.

    The excellent feedback for this seller is in no way exaggerated. He arranged to post this item early as I was shortly going on holiday. It actually arrived two days ahead of that estimated date. It was in really secure packaging and was in perfect condition. The standard of workmanship is really amazing and to be honest I am sorry that I have only the space for one on my layout.     Halden Yard is an excellent eBay Seller to deal with. The items are unusual and extremely high quality; communication is prompt and clear; postage costs are fair and the items were packaged securely and despatched very quickly. In fact, describing the items as “Used” doesn’t do adequate justice to the skill that has made an ordinary wagon into a feature that will stand out on a model railway - like the fire-damaged wagons or livestock wagons and box vans with open or damaged doors. Brilliant!
