Flinx and Pip. Awesome

Classic Foster. One of my favorite series. It is nice that he is concluding the story that started over 3 decades ago. A must read for any sci-fi,fantasy enthusiast.

ridiculous deal on high performace design!

I already had a killer 2 channel setup but when I saw these for 300 bucks on ebay I had to grab them. I auditioned some lesser NHT models (floorstanders)back in the 90's and vividly remember the tight deep bass and clean highs off of such a thin but deep speaker.Never having heard the VT-2's I took a chance and was richly rewarded albeit at a much lower price point than what they originally sold for ($1800).I would have paid that also!If you find them on the cheap be smart and grab a pair and maybe also the VS-2 surrounds that completed the video setup.Those are essentially the upper box of the VT-2's minus the woofer.If I had the money and room I would get a pair of VT-3's (VT-2's big brother) and the 3.3's.This is NHT's vintage gear before they went a little minimalist.You can slam the VT-2's or do critical listening with a SET amp and walk away with a grin on your face.They stomp many new,supposedly high end speakers and I love them.
