Remedy for DTC P1131

Replaced my PCV valve with an aftermarket PCV value to no effect. Online research showed the 90 degree elbow hose can crack causing the DTC. Aftermarket parts, while less expensive, did not have good reviews. Decided to go with OEM and solved my problem. Also purchased grommet for PCV valve to ensure air tight connections.

Works as advertised.

A mouse chewed the insulation off my old one. I wanted an OEM so as not to run into any unexpected difficulties when installing a new one. This was an exact replacement. Very easy to install. Obviously it's more costly than an aftermarket product, but I usually get better service life from OEM replacements.
