Dry fingers at last!
These are great if you want to paddle all year round, keeping your hands dry and warm, with a fleece insert that can be removed if you just need the wind and spray protection without the extra warmth.

First Library book I nearly didn't give back!
Picked this up in our local library while killing time waiting for my husband. I haven't stopped reading it since and have so far tried about 6 of the recipes, and think they are great. The detail about nutrition at the beginning really gave me something to think about, it has quite literally changed the way I think about food. I was already on a 'Healthy eating' plan, trying to lose weight without calorie counting, just by trying to cut the rubbish and eat more healthily. This book has given me the final boost giving me healthy snacks that I don't have to feel too guilty a soup and 'bread' recipe that the whole family love and am to start on the main meal dishes. So far everything has been easy to make, to the point that I have made some of the snacks twice over already in the 3 weeks I have had the book. I have to give the book back to the library next week, so I have now ordered a copy for myself. A note of warning, some of the ingredients especially in the snacks section are expensive, but as they are a lot more healthy for you I think they are worth it and I have spent time checking out cheaper suppliers like Foodweigh House etc. I have reached my weight goal this morning, but will still use this book constantly as it is a better way of eating that should help the whole family.

Just the Job
Buy one of these every year, enough room to write what I am doing each day, simple, and effective.
