Awful headset. Non pro version is 10x better
1 of 6 found this helpful I am a long term owner of the original corsair void wireless headset (the non pro version). Everything about the OG one is perfect. This one is awful.
Non pro corsair void pros:
-Amazing side tone
-Very comfortable
-Great surround sound
-No noise isolation at all (Which is perfect. Noise isolation is horrible)
The only reason I switched from the original corsair void was because the mic is VERY flimsy and it broke. My mic worked but I couldn't control the tilt on it, because the physical mic tilt broke. I hoped that the corsair void pro would have a more sturdy mic, and it does. That's the only good thing about the corsair void pro: the sturdy mic.
Everything else about this headset is garbage.
-There's a ton of noise isolation on the pro version which is awful. (The LACK of noise isolation was the best feature on the original corsair void)
-The sidetone is awful on the pro version - sounds so edited
-surround sound is awful on the pro (was much better on the original)
-Comfort was better on the original
DON'T BUY THIS HEADSET - IT'S AWFUL COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL CORSAIR VOID

Good hardware, horrible software
Nzxt cam software is beyond trash. Controls are complicated and my nzxt kraken x52 isn't even showing up in cam. It was working fine until cam randomly decided not to detect my kraken x52. Don't buy the nzxt hue +, CAM SOFTWARE IS GARBAGE
