Excellent
If you have one already, and are wondering why it doesn't spin correctly, make sure you're trying it WITH THE PLATTER ON. It looks possessed if you try to run it without the platter.

Exactly what I was looking for
I seriously couldnt be more satisfied with my purchase. I wanted a vintage cloth cable in red for a lamp project and what I got was exactly that. Its also sufficiently long so it will have no problem reaching.

Completely impractical
3 of 3 found this helpful So these look nice, but they're not at all useful.
The main problem is the focal length is less than an inch in front of the lens. (see photo)
This means two things:
1. Your nose will almost be touching whatever it is you're looking at.
2. Since you have to be so close to the object, having two magnifiers is absolutely pointless. You won't be able to look at the same object with both lenses at the same time anyway.
