MEH
To me its a little flimsy. I live in a place where there are bears, wolves, and other 4 legged critters. The hiking stick is first line of defense and while taking on a big bear with any hiking stick is a tall order this hiking stick is not burly to use on even dogs. They could bite right through it. It looks nice, it doesn't weigh much but behond that it's MEH. Sorry

You probabley won't want to cook a turkey in this but its a good little unit. I like it:)))
