All metcalfe kits are good quality.

End of train lamp rubbish.
The wagons are built to a high standard and are well detailed but the switch for the end of train light is too flimsy and inaccessible and the one on my wagon broke after one use. I replaced it myself with a stronger switch which is easier to operate although in the same position as the original it protrudes from the body further . The method of holding the battery is also flimsy and I also replaced that. Excellent model but let down by a cheap switch and battery holder.
