3 of 4 found this helpful I researched a lot of different makes before deciding on this one as it appears to have had good reviews. Once received I replaced the fuel line for a rigid plastic 2mm bore line as the one that comes with the heater is around 4-5mm bore which means the pump has to work harder to pull the fuel through. I also replaced the exhaust pipe with a weberspatcher exhaust as the quality of the supplied one was not very good. However this is the same for all the manufacturers of Chinese diesel heaters
Installation was very straightforward and simple to do - I have installed into the stern locker if my boat.
Financially it makes sense as my heating bills for electric was around £180 per month on the boat whereas this heater running daily will reduce the cost to around £50 per month in red diesel.
I did consider a true eberspatcher but at a cost of over £2000 I decided that even if I had to replace this heater every year it would take 29 years to equal the cost of the eberspatcher.
The unit comes with an easy to understand control panel which you can set up to work on timer much like central heating does. Also a handy remote control for those too lazy to get up and adjust from the control panel.
All in all a great little heater - granted I have only just started using it but impressed so far.
One suggestion- when installed before connecting to warm air pipes run it for a few hours as the air is a bit smelly - but once it burns off whatever causes the smell it is fine and can be connected to the warm air duct.
