Alternative use
Meant for climbing, but not season here anymore, so I made a camera strap from a part of it. Came out nicely and received lots of attention!
As for climbing it seems durable and I will sure use it as an aux in the spring.

Needs an adapter
Because it needs an adapter to a regular tripod 1/4 male thread, I have not yet been able to use it. But it feels like good quality when I play with it.

Surprisingly warm
By being a little puffy, it allows for a larger cushion of air to retain your body heat than a regular thin "blanket" flush to your body. Don't be fooled to think this will replace any sleeping bag in early spring or late fall (depending on where you are of course). It will need a little something underneath/inside; maybe some more layers of clothing or a fleece liner even in warmer temps. An advantage is of course that it keeps any wind out. The material seems rather durable, at least for conscious use (not directly on the ground etc). It is very lightweight and very packable. I bought it mostly out of curiosity and will probably mostly use it for indoor sleepovers, but will definitely try it outdoors when my whole sleep system is set up.
If you can sew, I'd add a foot box so you can stand on the ground with it on.
