Like It!
My daughter just started lessons in her grade school and requested music from her favorite band. OK. Some of the songs are way more advanced that her playing level...but she is playing more often because she knows/loves these songs. She is able to play the more basic arrangements and is challenging herself on some others. I don't think she will perfect most of these song until years to come but it has been well worth the price to see her attempt them. Warning: many of these songs are aimed at advanced players, but my daughter has really gotten pleasure from this book.

Great Bargain For True Beatles Fans
Being a longtime fan of the beatles I've seen and/or purchased all their related releases. This budget twofer is loaded with rare footage that has been well packaged. Highly entertaining for the Beatles fan who has everything. I actually purchased this to replace my VHS tapes. So glad I did so. The pacing and quality is quite good. Over two hrs of "grey market" public domain footage. I watched it last night with the whole family.......and we really enjoyed it. Don't let the low price fool you. Come on...rare footage, interviews, Pete Best, Jimmy Nichols, also includes the Hollywood Bowl and Washington DC clips. Covers 1964 to 1966. I rate this excellent for Beatles fans and because of its price.

Good Addition To Anthology
3 of 3 found this helpful OK. I am biased as I got to meet the man and his brother after a gig and spent some hours getting to know him. Talk about a sweet, modest, likable guy! And yes he can play the drums! Production value on the DVD is tops. Only thing missing is actual Beatles music so be warned. There is some remarkable footage that will fill in some blanks from the Anthology series. I was always interested in the Hamburg era of the beatles and so far this is the best documentary I've see on it. Sure it centers around Pete...but it's his story. This will be more of a pleasure for fans who are well educated in the Beatles already or someone who would likes documentaries in general. An amazing story of "Almost".."What if". He was the most handsome one at the time and had the biggest fan base in Liverpool. Hmmm.
