Pleasantly surprised
Wasnt expecting to be bowled over by this machine but I was! Although compact it is as capable as many full size machines. Threading needle can be a little tricky but suspect that is down to eyesight. I bought this for minor dress alterations and the performance on linen is excellent. Nice even stitching, fabric moved through the presser foot well. Only thing I would say is the instructions are laid out oddly! I would expect the how to wind the bobbin to be one of the first instructions, however, does come with them already loaded in white and black thread. I only have school sewing lessons about 40 years ago to remember how to use a machine so armed with little experience, managed to work most of out myself and found tutorials on You Tube.
In short this us a compact basic sewing machine that is good value and I would recommend

A very useful piece of plastic!
Bailey used to fit these vent covers as standard but they are now an 'added extra. We were away over New Year and as the van hadn't been used for several months the thermo coupling for the fridge was damp and wouldn't light until it 'dried' out. These vent covers help keep moisture and insects out. They are simple to fit and fit really well. The vent looks more 'finished' with them on too. We ordered one to start with as the measurements weren't exactly the same and even when we first looked the cover didn't look as if it was the right size! It was a perfect fit so ordered a second one. Vent can be left in place whilst the fridge is in use and doesn't have to be removed each time although manufacturer recommends removal during hot weather as the fridge has to work harder. Ours will be staying on for most of the yesr. A very useful piece of plastic!

Handy tools
This is the second set I bought, gave first one to my daughter. The tools are easy to use and keep clean. Better than using finger tips as more accurate and precise especially in harder to reach areas like the nose. Handy case suitable for make up bag or handbag. Would recommend
