NEW Hamilton Beach 12Cup Coffee Maker Programmable Brewstation Summit *2018*

FIND A BRAND THAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!

In the last 10 years we have purchased this brewer 3 times. We love having no carafe and having brew strength and warm time options. The issue is that every one of them fails the same way after a couple of years, the flow valve will start to leak. I have tried every fix I can find, even taking the entire valve apart and reassembling it. Our coffee maker has always been cleaned regularly but, it still leaks. I saw some other reviews indicating that HB will send you a new tank or the valve parts so I contacted them. Their idea of service was to offer a discount off a replacement tank. After spending over $ 150.00 on their products in 10 years and never asking for a thing I thought a replacement tank was the least they could do. They know the rubber seal wears out and they clearly don't plan to fix it. I suggested they use silicone since it is more heat resistant. Anyway, yesterday just as it started to brew it stopped for no discernible reason. It has power, etc. but will not brew. So today we buy a new coffee maker and guess what? IT WON'T BE A HAMILTON BEACH PRODUCT!
