The main herbal book on your shelf
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an excellent book about herbs. I bought it to learn about the healing properties of plants and how best to cure common ailments and problems. The reason why I think this book is an outstanding source of wisdom is that the author explains each body system thoroughly (witch pictures) while recommending infusions and tonics for optimal functionality. He is a truly knowledgeable herbalist because he also considers holistic aspects while discussing health as a whole. I personally love how the book is structured and the fact that it is completely illustrated (all herbs not just the most important ones) is exceptionally good. I am very happy I could put my hands on this very edition (hardcover) and I treasure it everyday.
