Brake Gears Wire Cable Cutter Tool Inner Outer Bike Cycle Bicycle Mountain BMX

    Excellent pliers for the price.
I needed a cable cutter for a soapbox car build. Because I won’t use it very often I didn’t want to pay a lot, although I did still want the ferrule-crimping feature. When the pliers arrived I immediately went and started chopping cables, and after using side-cutters and a grinder I can honestly say these things are a revelation! Cuts cleanly, (none of that squashing and cable unraveling I used to suffer with), and the outer cable poking cup on the side is super handy too. I don’t know why I waited so long to get a pair, highly recommended! I’m not sure they’d stand up to constant professional use, but in your toolbox for occasional hobby use they’ll be just perfect.

slightly dissapointed.low volume, low bass, redeemed somewhat by mid clarity
I bought these headphones because I wanted the best quality sound I could possibly get withinn my price range (upto about £30), and having heard good feedback about Denon's expensive "audiophile" style headphones I searched out the best product in the Denon range I could afford. Whwn I recieved the headphones I first tried them in the headphone jack of my work computer, and was pleasantly surprised by the clarity and excellent stereo soundstage, if slightly dissapointed by the lack of volume. When I got home I plugged them into a valve headphone amplifier and an equiliser, hoping to boost the volume, and fine-tune the bass frequencies to suit my own bass-heavy tastes. This was made a little awkward by the measly 3.5mm jack and extremely short cable. I also found that even with the amplifier flat-out the volume was still not very high, and began to distort slightly below my favourite listening volume. Clarity of all frequencies was however excellent, even tho I had to use the equiliser to boost the bass somewhat. I have heard some criticsism of the double headband arrangement, and would agree with that- I.E you would need an exceptionally tall head, or ears by your jaw to get a firm fitment, they seemed to just gently sit there and turning your head or looking down was liable to make them slip. This does mean that if you get yourself sat in the right position you can wear them for extremely long periods without discomfort due to lack of pressure on your ears or head, assuming you can get them to stay in the right place that is!! The construction of the headphones is a little "plastic-y", and does not inspire a feeling of quality or durability. I imagine if you used them out and about day-to-day they may be vulnerable to damage. My other headphones I use frequently are cheapo Numax hf125's, and altho the clarity of the Denons is far and away better than those, the Numax produce considerably more bass, not to mention volume! I would say that although the Numax cost around £8 and the Denons £28, they do not really represent £20 more product!!! So, all in all I am slightly dissapointed with the Denon AH-D301's, I expected a cut-price version of the great things I had heard about the Denon range, and they have somehow not quite lived up to that. That said, the clarity of the vocal and higher frequencies is rather good. They may probably best be used for music which uses these frequencies (eg classical or opera), and a user with a large head and small pocket device with powerful output (like an I-Pod) who doesn't listen at high volumes.

The Ultimate Drum 'n' Bass Album
Good album, features some great drum and bass tunes! some are so old-school that they are almost jungle music, others are a bit newer. all great tho! I bought it because it was cheap and filled out my drum and bass collection quite niceley. my mates and I have been raving it up in my car as we drive on and off to this album ever since I got it!
