NEW! 39" Full Size 4/4 6 String Steel Strung Acoustic Guitar

Stays in tune, sounds fine, action needs adjustment.

This guitar is very good value for the price. It has a pleasant tone, it keep tune very well, and has a pleasant appearance (the only drawback in terms of looks being the black plastic fretboard) I don't personally think it would be ideal for beginners, because when it arrived, the action was much too high, it was painful to play. After straightening the neck (the allen key was included, a nice touch), filing down the bridge saddle (at the rear) and also filing down the slots in the nut at the top, the action is nice and low, and as easy to play as an electric. I had never done any of these things before, and just watched youtube videos to find out how, so these adjustments could be made by anybody. But now it's a pleasant guitar to play, stays in tune and sounds fine, amazing value for money.

Warm and clear cleans, good volume level, Indie overdrive.

These replaced the supplied pickups in my Gear4music Knoxbridge Tele, which were quiet, and slightly brittle sounding. The Wilkinsons have given the guitar more volume, and a beautiful clear but warm tone. I bought this guitar for clean tones, and I liked the sound and found it usable, but now it's intoxicating. It overdrives beautifully too, I finally understanding what was missing from all the starts I've had over the years. Instant Indie!
