Great for random wire antennas! ICOM OPC-420 10M / 32.8 feet external antenna tunner cable with 4 pin plug for AH4 to IC-7300 external antenna option
This is the interface control cable for ICOM AH4. The cable that comes with the IC-AH4 is only 5M/16.4 feet long. This cable the ICOM OPC-420 controller cable is 10M or 32.8 feet long. Which may illuminate the need to splice in cable to extend length in many applications. The cable is shielded and helps protect the transceiver (in my case the ICOM IC-7300) from RF feedback. The cable is wired with the 4 pin external antenna tuner plug, which matches the back of the ICOM IC-7300.
This is deployed in support of a random wire antenna, made possible by the ICOM AH4 and ICOM IC-7300.

Accessory for with my ICOM ID-51a plus 2 HT - ear bud and mic
I also have a lapel mic, but I like the design, form fit and function of this accessory much better. The ear bud is comfortable and the mic picks up sound well. There is a push to talk button on the mic, which works well. Only negative I can think of is that the push to talk has a slide to lock function. I recommend practicing a few times with a dummy load, until you are comfortable with the push to talk functionality. Theoretically you can slide the push to talk into the lock position and then have both hands free while you are talking. Great for emergency or for community service work. The mic has three settings to adjust the sensitivity.
My accessory arrived much faster than expected, and is a new unopened product in its original packaging.
