Exactly what I was looking for. Putting together a 1/4 inch set and thus had the 1984 date code. Matches my others. It's beautiful.

Great looking and feel very robust, yet extremely light
1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't have the money to spend right now on high quality sights so I figured I would try these out for the time being. I think I got high quality sights anyhow! Although I have not been to the range yet, I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of these sights. They feel very well built and solid (not heavy). They mounted on the rail perfectly and I did not feel worried to crank the mounting bolts down fairly tight. The machining is clean and the sights look fabulous on the gun. They click up very positively and lock into place. A release must be pushed to fold them back down. The "up and down" swivel rides on two ball bearings and is very smooth. I can't wait to get to the range and zero them in. I may post a follow up review at that time. Great product. For the money, I can't imagine anyone would be disappointed. Unless they won't hold zero, I will not be replacing these with higher quality BUIS.
FYI...the images appear grey on my computer screen, but the sights that I received were a very dark glossy black.
FYI#2...the details say that the mounts are with a flathead screwdriver, but that is not true. The mounting bolts are 4mm hexhead bolts. I mounted using an alan key.
