A brand new high quality full double F/Bb horn with screw bell at an unbelievable price.
I sold my professional level horn some 2 years ago, as there was quite a bit of capital tied up in it and it had been some 5 years since my last public performance. During the past 2 years I had periodically browsed Ebay for French horns out of pure interest, never seriously considering buying one. However, I stumbled across a full double at an unbelievable £329. It appeared to have everything - it was new, a full F/Bb double and it had a screw bell. As I could not believe that a quality horn could ever be offered at this price, I eventually moved on.
When the same advert reappeared in front of me for a third time, I began to seriously reconsider. What would I have to lose at that price? It could be poor quality but I would still be able to use it as a natural horn after all. I ordered it.
It was with some trepidation that I opened the large box which arrived from Germany. The horn comes in its own padded case, mouthpiece and is even supplied with a pair of white gloves! Would it turn out to be a miniature horn? Was that the catch? No! I took possession of a high quality, fine instrument.
Whilst it has taken some number of weeks for my embouchure to return, I cannot find any fault with the instrument. It is as heavy as my previous professional level horn, has superb valves and all the notes are where they should be. I simply cannot understand how such a quality horn can be produced at this price. I consider myself very lucky.

A well machined item, promptly supplied. It covers both .308 and .243.

Vonhaus scarifier review
Though light and easy to handle, this machine is well designed and extremely effective. The amount of moss and debris it produces as it runs over the lawn is very impressive.
