Very good, better than the other vegan 'fish' sauce I've tried (you know, the most common one that eBay most readily finds), though Nish has a stronger, slightly saltier taste if that's what you need. Both have their places, and both that and this have a place in my cupboard.

Wasn't convinced but it works
I've seen smaller versions of these start cars with weak batteries, and bought this because it's higher power than most - claimed 1500A peak output - and much more portable than my old (and heavy) Snap-on (1700A). It started an almost flat 2-litre diesel the other day, though I've not tried it on a totally dead battery yet. The torch/strobe is handy, as are the USB outputs so you can use it as a power bank, and it doesn't have the silly compass that some cheaper boosters have. Quality is good with the metal case. I would have liked longer leads, but it reaches across an average-sized battery OK. Not the cheapest, but much less than a decent-quality full-size booster. All that remains to be seen it how many starts it can manage without a recharge, though you can charge it from the car's 12v socket.

A proper fix for a few pounds
I fitted the brushes - took an hour to get the starter off and back on, but that's not the brush supplier's fault - and it now works perfectly. A £14 fix. Very pleased.
