BLUE RAY will blow you away but a Denon 1920 may also!
If like me you have recently purchased either a new generation HD ready or full HD Tv then the problem you will face is the same as mine, yes we all know that a Blue Ray player is the way forward especially since a decent sony or others can be purchased for under £200.00, but i had over a hundred dvds which i have collected over the years and using the scart connection into my new tv they looked worse in my opinion than with my old CRT Sony, i was not a happy bunny, that is until i purchased my Denon 1920. Why? firstly because you can throw away that old scart lead and connect your player using a hdmi lead (which cost anything from £5.00 upto £50.00) i paid £10.00 for mine and its just fine. So will it really make a big difference using a hdmi lead rather than a scart lead, YES YES and YES again it really will, however next problem, quite a few brands now sell dvd players that connect via a hdmi and they all claim to improve your picture quality by using a chip (Not the kind you have with your fish)that is but one inside the dvd player itself that upscales and will enhance the picture upto hd quality. So you might well ask, which one should i buy? well i had no idea so i started reading loads of reviews online and DENON was rated highly again and again so i started a search on ebay for all Denon 1920 1930 and 1940 models (All RATED TOP NOTCH IN THE REVIEWS) and i ended up winning a 1920 model for £40.00 and i love it, the picture and sound really is so much better than my old dvd player connected with a scart lead. HOWEVER, why is there always a however i hear you say, well nothing to serious as any of the Denon Dvd players will without doubt improve the picture quality and sound of your dvd collection, its just that even the very best upscaling will not really be anything close to Blue Ray, as those next generation dvds just carry far more Information on the disc itself and the picture quality is mind blowing. However my Denon 1920 sits happily under my Blue Ray player at home and i can enjoy all my old dvds with a quality picture and sound i had not imagined possible before! as could you for less than fifty quid! "A REAL BARGAIN"

IF YOU LIKED STAR WARS THEN.............
I think you will certainly enjoy this movie, its full of action both on earth, in space and on other planets. Great special effects and a nice shower scene too for us chaps to enjoy! So all in all a must for your dvd collection, and should not cost you more than a couple of quid on ebay..............Others have commented on it being a pain because its a two sided disc, but myself found it just right for putting the kettle on for another cup of coffee when you reach the end of the first side!!!!!!!!!!!!
