Only time will tell...

As a Geocacher I have used a solar panel Owl figure to hide for Geocachers to find at night, when the lit eyes make it easy to find and children (& adults), love it! This is my third replacement as the previous two have ceased to light up after about 18 months. The other two cost less that £4 from local shops but as I culd not find a replacement locally I had to buy one online for twice the price! If this owl is still working in 18 months time it will be good value but if it fails before that it will not be good value for the price I had to pay this time. For this reason I cannot comment on this aspect! In all other ways I am delighted with this purchase!

Updating

The thermometer worked as a Maximum & Minimum thermometer but I wanted one which re-set itself to show max. & min. in 12 hourly slots... day max. & min between 0800 & 2000, and night max. & min. between 2000 & 0800 daily. This is what it claimed to do in the description but it failed to do so. It was not worth the hassle to return it so it acts as a normal max. & min. thermometer in a different site.
