Everest, complete history.
If you have any interest in the full history of Everest, including its climbing history, then this is the book to go for. A coffee-table book requiring seated reading, but compelling and interesting - with the size of the book permitting the use of large images.

Celestron 10x42 Binoculars
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased these on someone else's recommendation. Needed a cheaper pair compared to my others (Leica) to leave in the car and generally carry about on spec. These fit the bill exactly. They are light, good quality, optics (for the price) are excellent, and the price (£112) topped the lot. I would recommend them to anyone wanting good quality entry level binoculars fit for purpose (cheaper ones are available but they won't touch these).

A book on how others (big names in their own right) saw him detailing his contributions to botany, ornithology and conservation. A very capable individual with a wealth of knowledge and understanding used to good effect. Shame there were not /are not more people like him. A good read on a good man.
