A basic windows laptop that is small, lightweight and capable of doing the the everyday tasks. Space and power are limited, but enough for on the road

I bought this product for my daughter to do her patient data on the go. It came with Windows 10s which would have been a deal breaker if it couldn't be switched for the standard Windows 10 home edition - the 10s version prevents any software other than from the Microsoft Store to load. Thankfully, switching to the standard Windows 10 is very easy. The fanless design and low power makes the laptop quiet, cool and very good on battrery life. Leaving the arguably small power adaptor at home is definitely an option and those long train journies are easily doable. Don't expect to have space to run huge power hungry apps, as the 64GB built in memory and lower power chip limit this. You can however run Office apps, do emails or other online work. This PC won't replace a desktop or full power laptop costing £500+ but if you need a cheap, cheerful PC to do your simple everyday tasks, or taking with you on vacations or business trips, it is worth a try. The two USB 3 standard and single USB 3 type C ports provide room for necessary connectivity, be it an external monitor or data cable (an adaptor or hub would be required), or external HD for extra storage.

Value for money replacement power supply

I bought this to replace the original, very bulky analogue power supply that was giving some problems. Unlike the original, this unit is small, light and runs very cool thus far. Good value for money.

Pure Evoke D6 DAB FM Digital Radio Stereo With Bluetooth

Nice neat DAB Bluetooth radio

I upgraded to the Evoke D6 from my earlier Evoke-2XT. I loved the sound quality on the latter but needed the convenience of built in bluetooth connectivity. The D6 is great looking and works well. The sound quality isnt as good as the earlier 2XT however. The sensitivity is also a bit lower. Volume is noticeably lower on bluetooth as well.. my phone volume has to be quite high and the unit's volume as well. The remote control is also limited to just perset stations in memory, volume or tuning through the selected band. There is no function selector. Alll in all though, it is still a very nice unit with good sound and build quality, good looks and ergonomic design. If you purchade the rechargeable battery pack it also has goid battery life and offers good portability.
