Tricky install
This DRO is actually a very good deal for the price. It is a bit of a challenge to install but once in place and programmed for the application it preforms well.
The unit came without installation instructions but you can find some online or email the builder for their translated manual. All their manuals including the operating manual are mostly a joke for English speaking users so you are mostly on your own for both the install and the operation. You can get some hints as to what the DRO is capable of in the user manual but that is about the extent of manuals usefulness.
I really like the cost of the unit and it does the job well for me but it was quite a process to install and program. (I needed to change one of scales to read 1/2 of actual for direct diameter read-out)
I would buy this unit again if I needed an in expensive, reasonable quality DRO.
