Good value, good spec
I've had Moto G1 and G2 phones. Thought the G4 too big at 5.5", Then noticed the 5" G3 and the Indian version with dual sim slots which suits me well. I value waterproofness over an even faster processor and longer battery life over even higher resolution.
Only thing the Moto G3 lacks that I miss is an electronic compass as I use google maps daily. This was included with the G1 and G2 but alas not in G3. Otherwise phones at double the price when I bought it didn't offer particular advantages and none I looked at were waterproof.
My G2 had only 1GB memory which had to be shared with the OS, and my apps have room to breath on the 2GB G3 with an SD Card slot
Have just noticed there is a now a G5 which is also 5" but without claiming to be waterproof.
The Moto series offers a good balance of price performance. I also like the use of standard Android without too many extras added by the manufacturer that steal performance and memory providing features I don't want.
