One go
A great deal of effort went into making 'The Great Race, and this shines through in the end product, which, although rather silly, entertains and makes me laugh, even though I have seen it a number of times.
The other film (Monte-Carlo or bust) was clearly made on a very much smaller budget and has a rather 'thrown together' feel to it. I didn't find it very funny and cannot recommend it.

A cheap way to extend the life of comfy old shoes.
There is nothing particularly new or clever about this product. It is simply a pair of synthetic rubber half soles and a tube of impact adhesive, with which you can prolong the useful life of a pair of, otherwise worn-out, leather soled shoes.
You need to know how to use impact adhesive, but the rest is common sense.
I had no problems and an totally satisfied with the end result.

'Callan' fans should enjoy this. Others may not.
Very much more like an extended television episode, rather than a genuine feature film. It was clearly made on a very tight budget. However, if you enjoyed the TV series, you will, most likely, enjoy this. Some may find it's 'slow burning' pace and lack of glamour a bit disappointing.
It is very British and I liked it!
