GLOVE POWER CONNECTOR DESIGNED TO FAIL
1 of 1 found this helpful My previous Gerbing's gloves were premium quality and eventually the power lead failed after a good life which is NOT covered by the lifetime warranty but I was still extremely happy. I previously recommended them to everyone along with their other products.
However sadly these new XR12 so called premium gloves power connector and a Gerbing cigarette lead are both at least a third of the cross sectional area and much shorter than my old ones. I can see that the flimsy power connectors will have a very short life and of course are not covered by the lifetime warranty. The gloves themselves are fab but when the non replaceable lead fails they will be no use. If you use them for very light use then you maybe OK. This also means that they are not good for the environment when you have to keep replacing them..
Gerbing's lost a lifetime customer by trying to save £1.50
My opinion is that they are not a premium product anymore.

NEC MultiSync 1990SXi LCD TFT Monitor
1 of 1 found this helpful Perfect for photography. Made my old monitor look like a 1970s TV in comparison. Not the fastest for games. Fantastic colours and sharpness. I have got three of them and never had any issues. Great second hand buy. Too expensive new (£430). Two of my friends bought these after seeing my screen. Not the most stylish. Lots of vents to keep everything cool and reliable. Great colour and brightness range. Blacks better than spec would suggest. Screen illumination is very even. No light leakage. Highly recommended by myself a long term amateur photographer.

8 of 8 found this helpful Battery life is good and picture never skips when player is moved. The sound on headphones is superb in fact it is the best sounding portable device that I have heard. The picture is bright and clear but not the highest screen resolution. I have seen other higher resolution units where the picture is dull. You can really get into the film with this one. It is definately better picture than the cheap units. The big let down is that it does not have SVHS output or any inputs whatsoever. On a unit of this cost Panasonic should be ashamed of themselves for the lack of these features. Unit is expensive but would be a great buy second hand.
