Non OEM HP toner exploded & had to buy replacement printer!
I now purchase all my original equipment HP toner cartridges from eBay. The pricing is always the best (after double checking other sources), the service is great and the product is new. Two years ago I began using non-OEM toner cartridges made for HP, but one exploded inside my printer and I could not even get the toner ink out with a lawn blower! It ruined my printer completely and I had to buy a reconditioned replacement. It was not worth the savings or the hours I spent trying to remove the ink from the inside of my printer. What good is a replacement warranty on the toner if it ruins your printer? Some users have no problem with non-OEM suppliers, but I will never take that chance again even at less than half the price of HP OEM toners.
