Great Value - Adhesive Could Be Better
These tape lights are excellent value for money and would certainly buy again for future projects. The cool white version I bought give of more of a blue-white hue, which for my application was just right, but may not suit others. The tape can only be fitted in straight runs, so where I needed to turn a corner, I cut the tape, peeled back the silicon cover to expose the contacts and soldered in a pair of wires to allow a bend.
The down side of this product is the adhesive is very weak, despite making sure the surface was immaculately clean, the tape came unstuck after a few minutes. This problem can be resolved by running a bead of glue from a hot-melt glue gun along one side of the tape. I’d suggest this step is essential and very easy to do.

Good Looking & Value for Money, Budget Oven
If you’re looking for a basic fan oven on a budget, I don’t think you can go wrong with this. The all black finish looks modern and could blend in well with more expensive black appliances without looking out of place.
It’s simple controls are easy to use, but make sure you read the manual as one setting is just the fan and light with no heat, despite the temperature control dial showing a red LED that suggests it’s heating up when it’s not.
The quality of the grill racks and drip tray is fairly low. The racks are very thin and appear to sag even when empty. The racks and drip tray don’t pull out of the runners easily and drag, twist and scrape the oven wall when you try. This is a cheap oven and this is where it shows.
There is no clock, timer or display of any kind, just a little red LED to indicate that the temperature has yet to be reached.
Actually performs well, heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Using the grill with the racks supplied is not easy.
Power consumption is only 800w, which I feel is very reasonable.
With such a low power consumption, I would have expected the oven to have been supplied with a standard 13amp plug and cable to make installation as easy as possible. This is not the case, the oven needs to be wired in with the correct cable and connection point, so the additional cost of an electrician will need to be considered. This may mean that you’d be better off looking at a more expensive oven with a plug and cable already fitted and it will cost less than this oven plus electrician charges.
I wired this oven in myself as I am able to do so, but found the mains electrical terminals on the back of this oven to be very flimsy and too close together. If you plan to have a go at wiring this in yourself and don’t know exactly what you are doing, please leave this one to a professional.
(The owners manual makes it very clear about getting a qualified electrician to install this oven too)
To summarise, this cheap and cheerful oven is good value, looks good and performs its limited functions very well.
