Great starter brush
Since starting my wet shaving journey I have been overwhelmed by the price of badger brushes and confused as to why people would pay so much for them.
This brush is a fantastic badger brush for those who are just starting their wet shaving journey.
It is not a densely packed knot and, due to the fairly high loft (55mm), it lacks a bit of the backbone that you would expect from a pure badger brush - it's more like my silvertip but doesn't hold as much water.
Also it smells like wet dog when wet, however this is to be expected with a natural product, and should dissipate after a few uses.
I used it for the first time yesterday and it didn't shed any hairs, which is a good thing, and it held a substantial amount of water for its size.
It made a great lather and held it for the full three passes.
I'm sure that, for the price, any buyer would be satisfied with this brush.
