OVERALL ONE OF THE BEST RECEIVERS I'VE USED AND RESEARCHED!!!
3 of 3 found this helpful If you're not into separates and you have an addiction for adding speakers to your home theater, then look no further! This 8500 is packed with goodies and built solid as a tank! I enjoyed the set up features and mic calibration, which I didn't like on my old Sony. The remote and tv display functions are easy to use and very helpful. If there is one complaint, I'd say the volume is quite low... meaning volume settings 0-30 are about worthless. You have to get above 30 to even hear sound... at least in my short time of using this unit. I will change this if I discover this is not true over time. In any case, this receiver is the best!
