Understanding Autism.
I am currently doing a course about understanding autism and Arabella Carter Johnson is a contributor on the course. As a result I was curious to read her book all about her experiences with her daughter. I haven’t finished yet but so far I have found it well written, informative and very insightful. There are beautiful illustrations to accompany the text. I would recommend this book.

A tall tale, worth the telling.
Fascinating book made all the more intriguing by the fact that everything contained within it has a historical precedent. Margaret Atwood writes of a dystopian future where women with the ability to bear children are treated as vessels to be used by the elite. I have read this book many times over many years and still find it compelling.

Stuck on stickers!
As a TA it's always good to have reward stickers for the children and they particularly seem to like ones with a little message on them, rather than just a star, for instance. These stickers have gone down a treat.
