Good protection fully surrounded- full accessibility for everyday operational features- simple to install or remove when desired. Lifetime warranty- Have utilized Pelican products extensively in the past- Basically anything breaks send it to them and they have a replacement to you in no time. Good Fit-superior product.

Very difficult to pull vacuum-seal to enable pulling vaccuum leaves a lot to be desired.
New unit- very difficult to get to seal off to pull a vacuum even with no bag just trying to utilize the sealing function. With the multitude of available superior materials out there for the particular seal materials being utilized seem not to have improved since there inception in the 70s. In fairness to The Food-Saver design- most of the alternatives out there are in the same situation. INDUSTRY- please upgrade your product.
