good
good protection for front of fingers and palm of hand. Much less protection for backs of fingers and back of hand.

Works fine for me
Although it doesn't enable earphone volume controls, the sound quality from this adapter is much better than from some of the cheaper ones. No audible hiss while listening. Plus it's very compact. I have a different one that's quite unwieldy and hissy.
